Tri-Cities Opera Announces 2018-2019 Season

Now approaching its 70th year, Tri-Cities Opera (TCO) announced its 2018-2019 season at a press conference at 11am on Wednesday, March 28th, 2018 at the Opera Center at 315 Clinton Street. The company revealed its upcoming repertoire and corresponding artwork, designed by Gene Czebiniak. Reviewed by Sherri Strichman Sunday afternoon (Oct. 15), Tri-Cities Opera treated its audience at The Forum to an excellent production of Puccini's La Boheme. If the object was to fill seats by having only one, well-done performance of a popular opera from the standard repertoire, the company succeeded. Reviewed by Sherri Strichman Tri-Cities Opera opened its 2014-15 season last night (Oct. 24) with a well-received production of Giuseppe Verdi’s Rigoletto at The Forum in Binghamton. In the title role, Guido LeBrón gave a solid performance from start to finish. The TCO alumnus’ powerful voice conveyed cruel wit, tenderness, triumph, suspicion and fear in a myriad of vocal colors without ever sacrificing the beauty of his instrument.
