Tri-Cities Opera Announces Terrence McNally’s

"Master Class"

Tri-Cities Opera is presenting a company premiere, Terrence McNally’s Tony Award-winning play, MASTER CLASS, which will be performed in the Opera Center’s intimate Savoca Hibbitt Hall at 315 Clinton Street from February 23-25, 2018. MASTER CLASS marks the third production of TCO’s 69th season, and its first time collaboration with Theatre Street Productions. It will also commemorate the 40th anniversary of Maria Callas’ passing and the 95th year of her birth. Read more
Reprising the role for the fifth (and certainly not the last) time with her company, Theatre Street Productions, Andrea Gregori this weekend is bringing her signature portrayal of diva Maria Callas to the Endicott Performing Arts Center. This not-to-be-missed performance, previously presented regionally at the Ti-Ahwaga Playhouse in Owego, the Roberson Center in Binghamton and the Waverly Opera House, is a tour de force for Gregori. By George Basler Half Light Theatre, a new Binghamton-based theater company, is planning to mark its first anniversary with a special evening this coming weekend. On Friday (July 27), the company will take over the grand mansion foyer of the Roberson Museum and Science Center for a gala fund-raising event that will begin with wine sampling and hors d'oeuvres at 6:30 p.m. followed by a performance of Terrence McNally's play Master Class at 7:30 p.m. Read more
