Bourbon, Beef & Brews

New Fundraiser to Support BCAC

September 28 5:30 - 8:30 pm The Binghamton Club 83 Front Street, Binghamton September is National Bourbon Heritage Month.  Northeastern Striping Corporation and the Broome County Arts Council will present Bourbon Beef & Brews to benefit the arts.  This special evening of tasting will provide an opportunity to sample craft spirits that are distinctly unique, small batch and locally produced in the New York State Greater Southern Tier area.  Read more

Broome County Arts Council Members' Show

Deadline for submission is Friday, August 18. BCAC member artists are invited to submit up to two (2) works for consideration to be included in our members show, which will open on First Friday September 1, 2017, and be on view in the Arts Council Gallery through September 27. The show will by juried by members of the Program and Marketing Committee. Submissions should be emailed to submissions@broomearts.org. They must include:

The Broome County Arts Council’s board of directors has selected former Broome County Director of Parks, Recreation and Youth Services Arthur (Art) Garrison as the BCAC’s interim executive director. BCAC Call for Exhibition & Program Proposals

Broome County Arts Council (BCAC) is planning gallery exhibitions and programs for 2018. BCAC invites fine artists and cultural curators who live and work in Broome County to submit proposals for gallery exhibitions and programs for consideration by BCAC’s Program and Marketing Committee. Proposals are invited from visual artists, poets and writers, musicians, and performing artists, as well as curators of cultural programs with local significance. Executive Director Laura Knochen-Davis will be leaving the Broome County Arts Council (BCAC) as of July 28. Knochen-Davis told the arts council board of directors that she is facing some family obligations that require her complete attention.
