Kate Murray is a visual and performing artist and the owner of Studio 271 in Endicott, NY. She is a portrait photographer, a broadcast videographer and technician, comedy writer, director and arts, business and life coach. Kate is the co-director of Southern Tier Actors Read (STAR), and a voice and writer for KBKabaret; a skit comedy, variety radio show on WNBF. She has worked throughout Broome and Tioga Counties and in the Scranton, PA and Washington DC areas.
Some of the groups Kate has worked with are: The Cider Mill Playhouse, Know Theatre, Jan DeAngelo & Co, St James Choir, The Summer Savoyards, Endicott Performing Arts Center, Ti-Ahwaga Performing Arts Center, Schorr Family Firehouse Stage, Actor’s Circle of Scranton, PA, Scranton Public Theater, and the Little Theater of Alexandria, VA. Kate also worked for WIVT-TV, WICZ-TV, WSKG-TV, WOLF-TV, WDAU-TV, WNVC-TV. Kate is a member of the union NABET-CWA and is the President of the Broome-Tioga Federation of Labor and Board President of the Mental Health Association of the Southern Tier.
