Karen is a Visual artist and Tango dancer. She works in various media inspired by landscape and ethnic identity. Her imagery highlights water issues, indigenous causes, comparative cultural studies, and celebrates the spirit of cooperation. Karen also develops programming for schools and community groups to build an understanding with indigenous Haudenosaunee communities and to explore treaty relations through the Arts. Karen’s art has been exhibited throughout the region and internationally, in Japan, Canada, and Germany, and her work has been included onstage in multi-disciplinary performances with the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra and the Cayuga Chamber Orchestra.
