Glenda Blake
Glenda Blake is a painter and on-paper artist in Johnson City, NY. The human figure — at rest and in motion, in both interiors and the landscape — is at the root of much of her work.
Since her return to Greater Binghamton from Manchester, New Hampshire, she has worked as GreenBoat Studio and GreenBoat Design, making award-winning freelance fine art and design.
Blake has exhibited throughout the Northeast, and currently teaches oil painting and drawing classes at Your Home Public Library in Johnson City, NY, and Broome County Public Library in Binghamton, NY. She is an Exhibiting Member of Cooperative Gallery 213 (www.cooperativegallery.com), in Binghamton, and a member of the Maryland Federation of Art’s Circle Gallery in Annapolis MD (http://mdfedart.com/).
