  1. This weekend, I saw “The Public Eye” by Peter Shaffer at the EPAC Studio, the first production by the Temporary Repertory Company.

Directed by Chris Nickerson, the play is about an older man who hires a private detective to investigate the activities of his much younger wife. Tim Mollen was very funny and engaging as the detective. Mike Arcesi brought gravitas and realism to a stuffy husband who might otherwise have been hard to identify with. Stacey Jo Oropello played the young wife, Belinda, with grace and charm.

All in all, a witty and wonderful script, performed by very talented actors. Do yourself a favor, and when the Temp. Rep. Co. announces its next production, make sure you attend.
