Summer Camp at Roberson

Roberson Museum Offers 14 Dynamic Summer Camp Experiences

Prevent the summer slide by signing your child up for one of these engaging camps.

Registration for Roberson’s 2018 Summer Camps are now open, allowing kids to choose from a range of programs–all designed to keep kids curious over summer break.

These week-long programs will run from June 25 to August 31. Save for a two-day program running July 5 & 6.

These camps are lead by a team of experienced and talented educators, who will guide children through discussions and activities on art, history, science, and technology.

Each week offers an opportunity for campers to explore the world around them in new ways. For example, “Ecology Exploration” has kids exploring the habitats living right in their own backyard. For two days, campers will get an exclusive look at Binghamton University’s Nuthatch Hollow, observing the diversity of aquatic and other habitats.

Other camps explore historical propaganda and its use today, and another will have campers explore the diverse realms of sci-fi, serving as inspiration for them to create their own film.

There’s so much to discover in Roberson’s Summer Camps. Explore the full list of programs on their website.

Roberson is offering a limited-time early signup discount of 20 percent off when you register your child before June 1. Afterwards, the prices for each week-long camp will increase to $175 for members and $215 for non-members.

Roberson has Summer Camps available for grades 2 – 12.

All materials needed for activities will be provided by Roberson. Campers will need to bring a bagged lunch. Camps run from 9am through 3pm, with before and after camp care offered for an extra $30 for the week.

General Operating Support is provided to Roberson Museum and Science Center by a grant from the Broome County Arts Council’s United Cultural Fund.
