Madrigal Choir Celebrates 40th Anniversary With Concert of Favorites
“Celebrate Singing: Madrigal Choir Favorite Songs of the Past 40 Years,” takes place at 3 p.m. on Sunday, April 29, 2018, United Presbyterian Church, 42 Chenango Street, Binghamton. The concert includes favorites of both audience and choir members.
A highlight of the program is a commissioned work by David Brunner, described by the New York Times as a “prolific choral writer whose name figures prominently on national repertory lists.” With help from past members and the current choir, Conductor Bruce Borton has put together a delightful bouquet of musical highlights from the past four decades.
