BRAWLER by Walt McGough
April 8 – 22, 2018
Opening soon! Our next production is the world premiere of Walt McGough’s BRAWLER, produced in collaboration with Boston Playwrights’ Theatre.
|Directed by KTC’s Producing Artistic Director, M. Bevin O’Gara and featuring an all-star cast, BRAWLER is a modern-day riff on Sophocles’ “Ajax,” seen through the lens of the last true gladiator sport.|
Pay What You Can
Kitchen Theatre Company is happy to offer Pay What You Can performances for each of our productions. For BRAWLER, we will have a PWYC night on Tuesday, 4/10 @ 7:00 p.m.
Simply come to the lobby an hour before the performance, and tell the Box Office Manager you are there for PWYC night!
Kitchen Theatre Company’s PWYC program is generously sponsored by Digby Charitable Trust and Agava
On WEDNESDAY, APRIL 11 Kitchen Theatre Company will host a Student Mixer before the final preview of BRAWLER. This event is the perfect opportunity to meet and mingle with local theatre students from other schools. Grab a drink, enjoy some free popcorn, and grab a Pay What You Can ticket for the show!
Following the 4:00 p.m. matinee on SUNDAY, APRIL 15, KTC will host a post-show discussion on Ajax, PTSD, and BRAWLER‘s relationship to Greek tragedy. This talk will be hosted by Producing Artistic Director M. Bevin O’Gara and Jeffrey Rusten, Professor of Classics at Cornell University.
